1. The viscosity and temperature of the fluid filled into the accumulator should match those of the hydraulic system’s working fluid.

2. The accumulator should be installed in a location that leaves sufficient space for future inspection and maintenance.

3. When the accumulator is used to absorb impact and pulsation, it should be installed at the point prone to impact and close to the vibration source.

4. Keep it as far away from fire sources as possible to prevent hot gases from increasing its pressure and causing accidents.

5. Pay attention to the installation orientation. Generally, the oil port should be vertical and face downward. Avoid inclined installation, as this may prevent the bladder from contracting properly.

6. Particular attention should be paid to installing a check valve between the accumulator and the pump. This can effectively prevent oil in the accumulator from flowing back into the oil tank when the pump stops, thereby avoiding accidents.

7. A stop valve should also be installed in the accumulator system. Its functions are adjustment, maintenance, and pressurized inflation.

8. After the bladder accumulator is installed, it must be charged with gas. Generally, an inert gas is required; oxygen and hydrogen must not be used.
