1.  The accumulator must be thoroughly inspected before filling with nitrogen.

2.  Nitrogen must be charged slowly to prevent rupture of the bladder.

3.  It is strictly forbidden to use oxygen, compressed air, or any other flammable gases in the accumulator.

4.  Nitrogen filling must be performed using dedicated inflation tools. These tools are essential accessories for the accumulator and are used for inflation, deflation, measurement, and adjustment of the pre-charge pressure.

5.  Determination of inflation (pre-charge) pressure:
The recommended inflation pressures for different applications are as follows:
(1) Shock absorption: Set the inflation pressure equal to or slightly higher than the common working pressure at the accumulator’s installation point.
(2) Pulsation damping: Use 60 % of the average pulsation pressure as the inflation pressure.
(3) Energy storage: The inflation pressure should normally be set in the range of 60–80 % of the system’s minimum working pressure (and not exceed 90 % of the minimum working pressure), while remaining above 25 % of the maximum working pressure.
(4) Thermal expansion compensation: Use the lowest pressure in the closed hydraulic circuit, or a value slightly lower than that pressure, as the inflation pressure.

In addition, the installation of the accumulator must strictly comply with the relevant technical specifications.
